Agenda
Book Share Discussion
The YWOG are organizing a book discussion event on May 25th 4-5pm. The topics we will discuss are inspired by the following books, however you don’t need to have read the books to participate:
Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias In a World Designed For Men by Caroline Criado Perez
The Future We Choose: Surviving the Climate Crisis Book by Christiana Figueres and Tom Rivett-Carnac
We Should All Be Feminists by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
We will meet to discuss questions and topics related to each of these three books. We will also have someone there from the bookshop Savannah Bay (an independent bookshop in Utrecht) to give a short presentation!
Important to note!
So many of us are stressed out, working long hours, managing households, and taking care of children. You don’t need to finish (or even read) the book to participate – most of the questions will be general, so that we can probably all have input and discussions around it, even if you haven’t got through the book – so don’t miss out, we would all like to just have a nice conversation ?
The discussion will be held on Microsoft Teams, the link to the meeting is here. We hope to see you at 4pm on the 25th of May!
